HALLOWEEN 2012

 For the second year in a row, Emma went Trick-or-Treating with Pirate Cousin and Army Man.  They had a great time together.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY SHAREN

 Sharen is turning 71 on the day we are leaving for our trip, so we celebrated tonight.  We have been trying to do a monthly FHE with her, so we combined it with a birthday celebration.  She asked us to bring her gift back from Disney, so that is what we will do.

OCTOBER BIRTHDAY'S

 Since our both Glenn and Joe will have birthday's during our trip (by the way, their trip is seperate, just at the same time, and to the same places! :)) we got together to celebrate before leaving.  Mom, Dad and Chris were not going, but all the rest of us could think and talk about was going. After all, we are leaving in less then a week.

 Pirate Cousin pulled out some of the hats from when we all went to Disney World in 2008.  Emma thought Uncle Joe's ears were great!

 We were invited by Emma's Birth Family to join them for conference at their home in Otis.  We went down to spend Saturday with them.  Their home in Otis is lovely, surrounded by acres of forest.  Emma got the chance to visit with her Birth Mother Kristen, Grandma Kim, Aunt Kelsey and Uncle KJ

PREPARING FOR OUR TRIP

Meredith's Pumpkin

We are getting close to our big trip that we have planned for the last few years.  We leave next Thursday!  Yeah.

As part of the prep, I needed to finish our Halloween Costumes for Disneyland's Halloween Party.  We are attending with my brothers family.  As part of the planning, my Sister-in-law said that we should all go as pumpkins, because lets face it, we are all big and round.  We took that and went running.

BIRTHDAY PLAY GROUP

I received a call from my friend Carolyn about Mandy's Birthday.  She had a great idea about getting a bunch of us together for lunch to celebrate, and wanted to know if I would host it at our house.  So, everyone got together for lunch and a play group.  The kids were adorable as they all sat at the tables to eat their lunch.  The party was a success, and I think everyone had fun.
